Saw something on my morning ride
While pedaling this a.m. up the Macungie mtn. I heard some loud rumbling while I crested the top. I had seen the following link sometime ago…
There is a big powerstation on top of the mtn and i got to see this in action. i had a conversation with a PPL worker about what they where doing, and what I was doing. Apparently the second helicopter was filming a TV show for the BBC called “Invisible Industry”. I had my phone so grabbed a few crappy pics. Being 150ft away from watching this guy hanging out of a helicopter, getting zapped and clipping onto the wire is fucking cool.
Guy even gave me his card. I wish I had a business card that was this cool.
